Ty Martinez, MA, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist

I’m Ty Martinez OTR/L, a licensed and registered occupational therapist. I earned my undergraduate degree in Health and Human Performance from Northeastern State University and completed my Master’s in Occupational Therapy at Northeastern State in 2020. I believe in utilizing the skills and abilities I’ve been given to assist those around me. I am dedicated to advocating for and supporting the pediatric population because I firmly believe that all children should have the right to success, and it’s up to us to make that happen.

Tori Aaenson
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

I love dogs, and my favorite hobbies are cooking, dirt bike riding, and watching action movies. I graduated from Tulsa Community College in 2019 as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and have always had the drive to help people. I can’t think of a better way than teaching my kids at the Dyslexia Center of Tulsa. I like to think that I’m drawn to these kids because I struggled in school myself. My favorite part is witnessing that “Ah-ha!” moment when things just click for them, and everything they are working towards becomes easier.

Misty Williams
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

I graduated from Tulsa Community College in the year 2020 to become an occupational therapy assistant. I always knew I wanted to help people, but I wasn’t sure how until I took a child development class during my program. It was then that I realized I wanted to advocate for children with learning differences and support them in their growth. As someone who did not have that growing up, I can relate to their challenges. My favorite thing about working at the Dyslexia Center of Tulsa is watching the kids progress in every session and getting excited when it finally comes together for them.  In my free time, I enjoy watching my daughters play soccer and indulging in DIY craft projects.

Brittani Counts
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

I enjoy working for DCT because I feel like I have a calling to work with children and it amazes me to visibly see the impact the hard work and therapy is making each week! I am a certified and board-licensed occupational therapy assistant which is my dream career. I also have an associate degree in child development backed by 14 years of experience in the field. As a busy mom of 4, you can find me spending time with my family, especially on weekends, other wise you can find me sipping coffee and strolling the isles at my local target!
